Amanzi – the Zulu word from Southern Africa that simply, powerfully, means WATER.

On February 1, 2026, I made the sacred decision to rebrand Angel House Australia to Amanzi Health. This was not a casual change, but a profound homecoming to the true essence of 29 years of service, healing, and heart-led work with my community.

For over two decades, my practice has been fundamentally heart-based. In the ancient wisdom of the Embodied IChing – where I am a qualified energy healing practitioner – the Water element is the direct energetic bridge to the heart chakra. Water governs flow, emotion, courage, and unconditional love. It softens resistance, nourishes dryness, and creates life where there was once barrenness.

Science confirms what ancient wisdom has always known: the human heart generates an electromagnetic field 5,000 times stronger than the brain. This magnetic resonance becomes exponentially more powerful in the presence of horses – the cornerstone of my human-horse heart resonance model. Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with a horse places you at the epicentre of their vast energy field. Hearts entrain. Nervous systems settle. Truth emerges without a single word. This is the living medicine at the core of my work.

Looking back, my path has been water itself – adapting, carving new channels through granite obstacles, and always finding its way home. From building therapeutic programs during homelessness, navigating multiple relocations, multiple bereavements, physical injury, and rebuilding at Fellworth Farm – I have flowed where others saw barriers. Amanzi captures this resilient essence perfectly: no living creature survives without water. It cleanses, restores, revives, and creates life.
